    Looks like the weather conspired to spoil the walks, but not the after walk drinks in the oub. Being a couch potato I hadn't planned to join the walk, but I hope you can be back onntrack with the walks soon, as I know the doglettes are missing their tramps through the undergrowth.

    Well I still think our idea of just driving to the pub and having a quick pint before collecting all those we can carry who have had enough (co-incidentally all the ladies) is much better than walking for hours. I might be a couch potato but I don't get blisters that way :-) more…

    It is a pity you could not set off on your Ridgeway Walk this weekend as it seems to be such lovely weather. I hope you enjoy your substitute walk.

    Hubby and I started the Ridgeway walk at the Overton end, last year, and were camping along the way. Unfortunately blisters ruined the second day and we had to retreat home.
